New Exiles #7 solicit
Quote:
NEW EXILES #7
Written by CHRIS CLAREMONT
Penciled by TOM GRUMMETT
Cover by MICHAEL GOLDEN
At the start of a new storyline, the New Exiles find themselves in a world that never moved past the age of empires! In a world where super heroes first appeared, oh, some 406 years ago, both politics and science have taken a dramatically different path, landing the Exiles right at the outbreak of war between the British and the French. Meanwhile, one of the Exiles’ enemies has been gunning for Psylocke, but what will happen when he comes face to face with…Lady Mandarin?

Is that her new uniform? Because by then the make believe and dress in costumes arc should be over. And the new uniform should have first appeared in #5, right?
And that's a golden fruit bowl bra. I'm starting to get a little more than concerned.

This cover looks like it was created for one of the second arc issues (either as a regular or a variant cover) and was replaced with one of the Davis ones; reused for #7.

I'm very disappointed. With Grummett for creating such a degrading design, and especially with Chris, for not vetoing it, and letting an ancient continuity error define Sage's role.

Seems like it was the appropriate cover after all, that shockwave thingy is probably Havok's blast.

"Murder at the Mansion" is no longer the worst Sage appearance.

I think it's definitely still it. But that wasn't really a Sage appearance anyway. it was another Sublime imposter like Xorn-neto. tongue

It's very frustrating to see Sage fill such a plain role. And why does Grummett still draw the shades? She doesn't use them anymore. Might as well give them to Cat, right?

Yep. Cat does the thinking and computer part. Sage fills the generic half naked telepath part. Her next step should be to find an alternate Scott, since every other half naked telepath already did at some point.
